I stayed for 4 nights with my mother, and we had a really nice experience. It’s located just outside the Bern Wankdorf train station, so it’s super easy to reach (take the stairs toward platform 1 — once you exit, it’s right in front). The room was clean and modern, with a clever design — it has a collapsible kitchen that can be closed to pull out a full double bed or opened to use the kitchenette (when it becomes a single bed). The bathroom was spacious and clean, and there’s a curtain partition in the entry area that can be used as a small changing space, which was quite convenient. There’s no physical reception; everything is handled online. We received the building and room access details digitally on the day of arrival, and it all worked smoothly. The process was simple and convenient. There’s also a Coop supermarket nearby with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, which was really useful. The place is senior-friendly — my mother found it easy to move around and comfortable. Room comfort: Comfortable, quiet, and clean. Facilities: Working kitchenette with mini refrigerator, oven, chopping board, electric stove, and other essentials. The building also has a lounge/sitting area with books and games, plus a washing machine and dryer (CHF 4 each). Ease of access & support: Check-in instructions were clear. Online support was available, though not very responsive.
